In 2012, I graduated from Everest College and received Dental Assistant Diploma.
Before joining Dr. Tom's Bloor Dufferin Dental Centre, I practiced at Smile City Dental for 4 years, assisting in many procedures, accumulating great experiences and memories. Along with my career as a dental assistant, I am a mother to a 20 year-old daughter who is pursuing her studies in Linguistics; we enjoy watching movies and trying new recipes together. With my knowledge from a cooking certification program at George Brown, the food always turns out great!
My name is Ivy Hoang. I graduated from Seneca College in accounting.
My interest and passion in dentistry began in 1997 when I started working as a casual dental assistant while I was a student. I enjoy seeing patients' happiness and appreciation after each dental treatment. In total I have over 20 years of experience in dentistry in various positions - dental assistant, patient coordinator and office manager. I believe with healthy teeth and a beautiful smile you will have good general health and confidence in life. During my free time I enjoy knitting, beading, making paper flowers and reading fashion magazines.
My name is Chantel Rodrigues. I received my diploma from Archbishop Romero Catholic Secondary School in 2014.
I realized I had a passion for dentistry when I got my braces treatment from Dr. Tom and noticed how big of a change it has. I aim to give a positive change with every patient visit. I have been a dental assistant at Bloor Dufferin Dental for the past 3 years. Aside from being a dental assistant I enjoy walking my dog, hiking, reading, and spending time with my family
